The client who stayed.
Mobile Works, Santa Maria, California — with a second location in San Luis Obispo. Owner: George. On TSS for more than ten years.
The situation
George didn't want a new system. He wanted the one he owned to finally work — ten-plus years of data had gotten messy enough that the software couldn't do its job. He called Richard Basler for the same reason he always had: at MEA, Richard was the one who fixed his TSS problems.
The work
A decade of data, cleaned and organized. TSS re-implemented properly — used the way it's built to be used instead of the way it had drifted. Then George relaunched his San Luis Obispo location, closed three years earlier: a second TSS license, a second setup, and the two stores linked through TSS multi-store.
Why this one matters
George wanted to stay — and the work made staying the right call. If you've wondered whether a consultant will always push you toward a switch, this is your answer, with a name on it.
Where George stands
In Richard's words: George is "all in" on helping other retailers know what Basler Consulting does.
Maybe your software isn't the problem.
